Meet the Artist - Ivy Harris
Ivy Harris Monogram

Hi friend!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I’m often asked how long I’ve been an artist– the majority of my life! My love for illustration was discovered in a 7th-grade art class, when we were asked to draw one of the shoes we were wearing that day– I had on my favorite high-top Converse! My teacher saw something in my illustration and encouraged me to pursue art beyond that class. A very special thank you to Mrs. Branch! It was the first time I realized I could draw, and that creative spark stayed with me through high school, college, and a career in graphic design.

A few years ago, I found myself at a crossroads, longing for more purpose in my career. I asked God to show me how to use my gifts for His greater purpose and I decided to draw a rescue puppy that my family had recently adopted. Not long after, a friend asked me to draw her cat, then I received a request for a dog portrait, and more followed. I leaned into what I believed was God’s answer. Today, I create joyful, whimsical watercolor illustrations and acrylic paintings on canvas inspired by the beauty of animals, nature, and simple everyday moments. Whether I'm painting a custom pet portrait, illustrations for nursery art, or landscapes, I hope to bring joy to others through my work.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, relaxing near the water, or gathering inspiration outdoors– and there’s always a sketchbook nearby.

Thank you for being here– I hope you find something that makes you smile!
